by Susanna on October 10, 2010

Thanks to all the players from last challenge — we had some amazing cards submitted. Thank you to EVERYONE who participated and who voted!

Congrats goes out to Helen “Tootsie” Rund for this Elizabeth Bell “Thinking of You” card.  Tootsie has a blog at http://scraprund.blogspot.com — check it out to see other great creations.  Bringing in 32 votes, Tootsie won with this card, and is officially our

Card Of The Week

Love this!

New challenge: Halloween!

This week’s challenge is to create a “Halloween” card or other paper craft. Post a comment here, and I’ll add your card with a link to your blog to our voting. The winner will be announced next Wednesday, along with a new theme. Are you looking for certain ideas? Let me know with a comment here and I’ll let you name an upcoming challenge!

The inspiration this week is from my “Phantom Basket”.  My neighborhood plays a game similar to “Boo”.  You create a small gift and leave it, a picture of a ghost, and a letter on the doorstep of a neighbor and then “ding dong ditch” them.  The kids think this is awesome.  The neighbor gets a small gift and continues the game until everyone in the neighborhood has a been hit.  I’m attaching the game letter and the ghost picture for anyone who would like to play this in their own community.  It brings lots of smiles.
