Going ’round and round!

Mark's Finest Papers gave us a challenge — create a project, any project, but it must feature circles.  We were up for the task.

The Supernovas are all using stamps from Mark's Finest Papers.

The stamp set I'm using is Speedy the Cat's Friends.  I have 3 cats (this qualifies me as a crazy cat lady) and I couldn't resist using one of them in my card…

Here's a closer look that shows you how you might couple this card with a gift.

I used one stamp with several different inks to create a cat themed background paper.  I used Staz-on to stamp the sentiment directly on the photo.  This is a trick I love to use for scrapbooking too.

The circles are cut in half and used as a border here to function instead of ribbon.  I stitched them on and curled the bottoms to give the card a little dimension and texture.

OK, now it's your turn! Make a card with a circle on it and you could win the Apples and Camellia Stamp Set from Mark's Finest Papers.   All you need to do is tag your card "mfp01" and upload it to the Planet. We'll be keeping an album for everyone that shows off all the entries so far!

Susanna, this is sooo cool! I love how you included your cat in the photo. Makes me miss Madison and wish I had another cat. Love it!

Love how you used a photo of one of your cats in your project! The bright colors are a fabulous contrast to the cat’s color.
